About Jean Low
A multi-disciplinary performing and recording artist who also creates sound installations, Jean Low also goes by the moniker Ferry. She spends her time composing, playing in four different bands, while developing her own solo works.
What started out as a yearning to break out of a typical live band set up has become an obsession to create, conceptualise and devise new immersive experiences for audiences. Jean aims to bring life to her vision to showcase music and social issues in a new light, through involving the community-at-large and the underprivileged. She places a strong emphasis on storytelling, bringing the listener on a journey of connection, emotion, new perspectives and vulnerability.
About Jean Tan
Jean Tan is a singer-songwriter with indie, folk, and jazz influences. She has performed at the Zandari Music Festa Seoul (2017), Southeast-Asian (SEA) Games (2015), Singapore Night Festival, and Starker Music Festival.
Her latest EP Hideaway is a folk/soul/electronic record co-produced by Kevin Foo and et aliae. Jean’s song Crowns surpassed 100,000 streaming plays within two months of its release. A poet and word-smith, she weaves her life experiences into her songs and uses her music for social good. Jean has performed and shared her story at schools, teenage homes, and for causes related to Operation Smile, Smile Asia, World Vision, Relief Singapore, Safe Place, and Architects of Life.
About Jean Goh
Jean Goh started out as an actor at the age of six and played memorable roles in dramas such as The Price of Peace (1997), Stepping Out (1999), and Let It Shine (2007) as well as short films such as Autograph Book (2003) by Wee Li Lin, Love Exists (2016) by Hers Productions and A+Z (2016) by Jedidah Neo. Born into a family of performers, Jean wrote her first sappy love song at the age of 17 and hasn’t looked back since. She was mentored by Sara Wee from 53A under the Noise Music Mentorship (2016), and is currently one-fifth of a two-year old a cappella group, The Apex Project.
Jean’s brand of acoustic indie folk/pop songs are mostly inspired by life and heartbreak. She believes that her personal trials and tribulations are battle scars that should be shared with people looking for a glimpse of hope. This year, Jean released her debut single Night which ranked 3rd on Spotify’s Viral 50 Singapore playlist.
