About Tete Saxman

Pongthipok Sootthipong (more commonly known as Tete Saxman) is a jazz enthusiast and saxophonist from Thailand. He has been living in Singapore for the last ten years and currently studies at LASALLE College of the Arts. Through the years, Saxman has played with the Jazz Association of Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) and Jazz Association of Singapore Youth Orchestra (JazzYo!), led by Jeremy Monteiro. Aside from being part of Mosaic Jazz Fellows 2018, he has performed at Esplanade’s Jazz in July 2018 and All Things New 2019.

About Tete & Friends – The Unforeseen Standards

Tete & Friends bring a mixture of jazz originals as well as some of their favorite swing tunes. They will present a repertoire crafted to include some of the most uncommon jazz standards tunes such as There’s A Small Hotel, Laura and Let’s Cool One.
