The MANdolin & Beyond was started in 2016 as a tribute to the Late Maestro Padma Shri U.Shrinivas who was regarded as the Mozart of classical Indian music. He pioneered the introduction of the Mandolin, a western instrument, into Classical Carnatic music that has become synonymous to his name. Mandolin Shrinivas, the rarest of musical geniuses, embodied the change that stretched beyond time and boundaries, fusing Indian classical music with other forms of world music. The phenomenal success of the first edition inspired Arte Compass to make this an annual Tribute to the MAN who continues to inspire us.
 
GEORGE BROOKS is a prolific and diverse US based saxophonist and composer, acclaimed for successfully bridging the worlds of Jazz and Indian Classical music through collaborations with artists like Zakir Hussain, John McLaughlin, Steve Smith, Kai Eckhardt, Fareed Haque and others.
 
KARTHIK a current and popular Indian playback singer in the film industry, has given numerous chart busters in multiple languages – Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali. He has worked with renowned music directors and composers including AR Rahman.
 
Noted for his fine sense of rhythm, versatility and eloquence, USTAD FAZAL QURESHI has expanded his horizons into Jazz and Western Classical Music. He performs both as a soloist and an accompanist. He is associated with Mynta, his world music band based in Sweden that has travelled the world over and have released six immensely popular albums. 
 
U RAJESH has collaborated with a number of world renowned musicians. Today he is one of the most sought after Mandolin artistes in the world has more than a dozen albums to his credit.
 
HARMEET MANSETA: One of India's talented Jazz pianist, Harmeet is known to play the keys with flair. He effortlessly weaves international genres with Indian Classical Music to create soulful compositions.
 
GINO BANKS: The Mumbai based Drummer is a vital figure in the Indian music scene, be it indie or commercial. A versatile artiste, he has collaborated with several international and Indian musicians, with the likes of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Vishal-Shekhar and contributed to groups such as The Mekal Hasan Band from Pakistan.
