Lovers of classical music will thoroughly enjoy this exciting elimination-style competition, showcasing some of the world’s best young violinists. 34 candidates from 11 countries will take to the stages of Singapore’s world-class venues, including the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall, Victoria Concert Hall and the Esplanade Concert Hall.
The candidates will perform incredibly complex and well-loved pieces by many revered composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Paganini, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Mendelssohn, and more as they compete for over US$100,000 in prize money.
The top six performers of the Competition will be rewarded with stunning sterling silver trophies from Tiffany & Co., a loan violin from the prestigious Rin Collection, and the Grand Final winner will have the opportunity to perform with some of the world’s top international orchestras.
