With more than 15 years of hosting, promoting and delivering sound system culture in multiple forms to the youth, Gokil System is just but a new moniker for a traditional approach and attitude. Influenced by multi-identities Gokil System is here to uniquely explore Planet Earth's music. Gokil System mixes hints of global sounds firmly embedded in its hip-hop roots and beats culture aesthetics.

Gokil System is known for coining new phrases at a flick of a wrist, 'hyper-eclecticism' being one of them. Although the map is not the territory, nothing less is true. Ranging from the sounds of shamanistic rituals of the amazon to the up and up of new-age modernisms; global sounds have rarely been embedded more specifically and timely than this. Crazy as it might seem, Gokil defetishes DJ-ism and brings selective audio directly to the listener.

Gokil System = MC Dan Stezo

Dan Stezo is a Drum and Bass MC hailing from Amsterdam, signed to The North Quarter. With releases on Metalheadz and Hospital and performances at Dimensions, Sun & Bass, Lowlands, Dour and many more Dan Stezo is a familiar figure in the more headsy soulful quarters within the Drum and Bass spectrum. Best known perhaps for his long-time partnership with Lenzman, elevating the mixtape with their yearly synergetic collabs.
